If you were given a choice between deliberately causing serious injury, or even death, to a child or blaspheming god, would self-interest dictate that you harm the child, or would you put the child's safety first?

Obviously, god has deliberately killed lots of children. Think of egypt and his "lesson" to pharaoh.

I'm a Christian, and we all know hurting a child , even murdering them isn't as big a deal as saying there's no god.
WE christians are a piece of work! We are also hypocritical too, because on one side, we'll state there is no bigger sin than blaspheming God, then when a contradiction is pointed out, like in your question, we'll do a 180 and say that the most important thing is not harming the child.
We christians are a piece of work~@

God would want both you and the child to serve Him with all your heart, mind, and soul.
You cannot serve God and blaspheme Him.
Job's children were killed by satan with fire from heaven while in the fields. They did nothing to ddeserve it, yet it served a larger purpose. Notice that Job never blasphemed the Lord.

There is absolutely no way you can blaspheme God by protecting a child. Protecting the child would be the will of God.

If those were the only two choices, I would slit My own throat.
I have real pain when someone blasphemes God.I also get ill when someone harms a child. That Jesus camp Becky Fischer was so abusing children I was sick for a month.

What kind of question is this? Why would this ever be a situation you were ever in? But if you insist on an answer, read the story about Abraham and Issac. If I had my bible here at work I would tell you exactly where to look, Gensis I think...

Easiest question ever. I would blaspheme god, since he doesn't exist it will do no harm. Never, ever hurt a child.

Harming an innocent child is much more serious an offense to God than blaspheming him. Your soul (if you believe) is much worse off if you harm an innocent.

You would NEVER have to make that choice. But for the sake of argument, morally you would never hurt a child. God would fall off His throne if you did.

I would blaspheme "god" way before I would let a child be hurt.

God would know what was in my heart and save myself and the child.
Merry Christmas.

I'll take blasphemy over just about anything. I mean a kit kat bar and blasphemy is going to be tough, but I don't see why I couldn't have both. God damn that's good.
Oh sure, god would never hurt a child.... Try reading the book in it's entirety you hypocrites.
