what is it about an accent that makes a person so much "hotter" or more attractive?

i've tried to puzzle this out... a friend told me that it was because "they say very naughty things in other languages" and "they talk with a purpose". but then i think, even if the only language they know is english, that accent makes them that much hotter (i know an english gal who could read the dictionary for all i care and i wouldn't be bored... i'm pretty sure i'd enjoy it :P). but WHY does it affect some people like that? what is it about an accent that makes some people even more attractive?

Probably just because it's out of the ordinary. Things that are "different" are usually more exciting than the same old thing all time.
