Alcohol can make the dogs stomach bleed. He may experience trouble going to the bathroom. This is bad....don't do it!

Next thing you know, he'll be getting into your liquor cabinet and sneaking a nip when you're not looking. Then you'll have to take him to the Doggy Ford Clinic for treatment, and the cost will be enormous.
And just imagine the embarassment you'll feel when he comes home from the neighborhood pub, three sheets to the wind, howling a chorus or two of "MacArthur Park" at two in the morning.
Yeeesh, some people just do not use their common sense!

My husband has occasionally given our dog tastes of beer, but only rarely. You should never give a dog alcohol on a daily basis. Sounds like a waste of whiskey to me, and you are endangering your dog.

Although this is obviously a bogus question, alcohol is very bad for dogs. Their bodies cannot metabolize alcohol in the same way that humans can.

No. Just like it is to humans, alcohol is basically a poison. Humans are able to consume it, but it can be rather dangerous for a dog and other animals.

No, its very bad for them. The dog may also fall over. Drunk dogs in the home are a health and saftey issue.

well it wont kill him if its not too much but its definately a stupid thing to do to a dog. I hope you dont feed him the chocolate cake instead of the dog food.
