depends how devout they are. if the man is really controlling, he wont let his wife talk to any of his friends without a hijab (veil). but no, not that i know of.

I am Catholic, but I've looked at the rules. I've never met one. This is likely because I have never met a muslim woman one on one, which is of course not generally allowed. The rules seem to indicate that distance and other safe communication is fine as long as no "unholy thought" or so forth will come of it. Which is to say, normally it's fine.
Like I said, I've never met a woman who refused to talk to me. The problem when this occurs is wether she is being proud or submissive (to God). I have my doubts about this being true submission, with a good understanding of the world. For instance, if a woman refuses to remove her veil for a driver's licensce photo, she is doing herself and country an injustice. First, she cannot fulfill her role completely without a driver's license and the country would not be able to fulfill its role of protecting the public without an actual photograph.
Anyway, that's my moral theological standpoint.
If you read it, thank you.

Actually, that's not Islamic, it's Arabic custom from long before Islam. The Quran speaks of equality between the two.

I work in in Customer Service and have to deal with all kinds of people all the time. I talk to men everyday. But I do not go behind closed doors alone with any man. If my male boss wants to see me, I simply take a female co-worker in his office with me.

The Islamic women are practising normal life, but they don't make an illegal relationship with man, such as boyfriends, etc... They should be husband and wife.
