Best thing is not to mix; if you stay on the same drink it's generally much better the next day than having gone for beers + wines + spirits over the course of the party.

Stick with a clear or light liquor like rum or vodka. Don't mix with carbonated drinks. Juices are good but can be two sweet which might make you feel icky. Dirty martinis...I've never had a hangover. Carbonation intisifies the alcohol. I also use lemonade. Beer is a good option but stick with it. Drink a glass of water between each drink. You feel bad the next day because the alcohol in your system AND your dehydrated. Have fun

Apparently it has to do with the colour of the drink. So if you drink vodka and coke you're going to feel worse than if you drank vodka and lemonade. You're going to feel worse if you drink cider and blackcurrant rather than cider on it's own. My advice - stick to your favourite drink i.e. wine - drink a lot in the first half of the evening then when you're feeling merry - switch to the soft drinks - the alcohol will have longer to get out of your system. When you get home, eat something like a sandwich and remember to wash your face before you go to bed. When you wake up have an Alka-seltzer XS (much better than Resolve) with a pint of water. Have a shower and put on some nice clothes (always makes you feel better). Good luck and have fun!

Well if you feel like crap the next day that means you have had a lot to drink or you have no tolerance. If this is your job, instead of looking for ways to drink maybe you should consider drinking in modertaion and maturing a little... its your job... not a frat party.

The best thing to do so you don't feel so crappy the next day is to have a good meal before you start drinking. Always works with me. Sometime when I don't eat and start drinking is when I feel like a bag of **** the next day. Also try to drink something without pop. Drink a Gin-a tonic. Sugar is what kills you too! If you do drink with pop try using a light coloured one, no coke or pepsi.

You'd probably be good with something like Southern Comfort.
Mix it with cola, because clear carbonated beverages mixed with alcohol get you drunk faster. Whatever you do, pick a drink and stick with it. Drink water in between drinks, and drink a lot of water before and after you go out. Take two tylenol before you go to bed, and you should wake up feeling reasonably normal.
If you must mix drinks, remember the old saying: Liquor before beer, you're in the clear... beer before liquor, never been sicker.
Avoid shots at all cost. And no Jaeger.
Have fun at the party!

Try eating something stodgy before you go out, a pizza or pasta dish.
Drink a pint of water before you go out and some milk to line your stomache a bit - you wont get drunk as fast.
Try drinking spirits mixed with soft drinks and steer clear of wine if you're drinking anything else!
Dont eat anything before you go to bed no matter what the temptation and try to drink at least a pint of water before you go to sleep.
Dont drink any coffee during the night as the mixture of alcohole and caffine can be grusome.

If you don't want to use alcohol free, you will need to limit how much you drink. You could also try making every other drink alcohol free, and before going out you could make sure you have eaten a good meal.

Drink whatever you are used to. Stick to ONE type of drink as mixing drinks will make you feel like you got hit by a truck. Most importantly, pace yourself, its easy to get carried away at these things.
