I think it is very sad that people do not take marriage as a commitment anymore....they simply just say...Oh, it's not working out" and file papers....
I do think there should be a limit....I don't know how many because yes, sometimes there are some extenuating circumstances....but when there are children involved....divorce really hurts them, no matter how "civil" the two parents may be toward eachother....
In my personal opinion, if you get divorced twice, you need to start looking in the mirror....

That depends on who you are. If you are a Christian (or a Jew) you should try to prevent divorce as much as possible. But there are provisions for those who must divorce. Once done, the church and all Christians should respect the divorce. If you find yourself often looking for a divorce, then you should not marry-or at least get help with your problem. Two divorces are enough for one to realize that he/she has a serious problem.
Now, if you are not a Christian or a Jew-then it does not really matter. Marry and divorce as you like. You and your family are the one who will have to pay the consequences.

No limit. You can't force people to stay in a bad situation. So they made a bad decision. Now they are trying to fix it.
Perhaps people SHOULD be required to undergo counseling and training (of sorts) before marriage (like many churches require). They just need more resources when making that decision.

I think they should be able to divorce as many times as they want. I do think, however, that after so many times it takes away from the sanctity of marriage.

people now a days use divorce as a toy. unless someone has ahd extremly bad luck with there spouse being a cheat, or a abusive person, or any otther good reason, they should not get divorced at all. and if they do, they should NOT remarry.

according to the buy-bull, the christ-myth all but forbids divorce except in the most aggregious circumstances. but that's another one of the MANY cult laws and tenets handed down by the jesus-myth himself that christians regularly ignore.
