I have a new boyfriend but my ex is dating this awful fat chick who's nothing compared to me. She was dating my ex when we were still going out as I found out. So, is it ok to hate her?

Your in a situation that almost everyone has faced so don't feel alone. When we're children, a popular saying is to "forgive and forget". However, It is quite impossible to do so. When we reach an impass which is created by negative actions from another we have to eventually decide to "forgive" that action, which usually mean we stop dwelling on it. But, until MIB comes alone and zaps you clean, you will have to live with that memory of betrayal. The pain will get easier as time goes on, not because the betrayal will be any less hurtful but because the events of your life will bring about the realization: You are better than you could have ever been with him, someone way better will fall into your lap when you least expect it and he will still be fumbling around with his sumo queen wondering why he ever left you, and unless he has a fetish toward that stuff then he started thinking that shortly after climax.

No its not ok.... Hate can overwhelm you and make you a very very ugly person. You need to accept what has happened, and move on with your life. There is no sense in wasting energy hating someone, especially if you say you'd moved on and are now with someone elese. Are you sure your not still hung up on your ex?

Sound like your attitude is the reason he moved on. Beauty is skin deep and ugly is to the bone. If you walk around with a selfish resentful attitude, count your self among the ugly people.

YES! It sure is. I still HATE my ex-hubby's new wife. We were best friends, and when I divorced him, she moved in for the kill. She moved in 2 weeks after I moved out. I would wear a red dress to her funeral if given the chance, that is for sure. I am happily remarried now, so the ex- means nothign to me. I do harbor hatred for people as shalow and crappy as her though.

Don't bother exhausting yourself over it. Neither of them are worth the effort it takes to hate someone. Concentrate on your life & be happy knowing your better off!
