Suzana,
It is good to be able to talk with someone who has studied God's Word. You are correct about God's church - and belonging to it.
There is also another question - even though you are part of the church - will the ones who do not follow God Word on worship be welcomed into Heaven? What a sad day it would be if we don't make it to Heaven because we did not have acceptable worship.

Have you read the first chapters of Revelation? There were churches tht had some things right, and a few that really had things going on! That's what the world has in it right now.
So the people that 'go to Church' are not necessarily saved. But those that trust God through Jesus Christ have that covering that Jesus as the Lamb of God provided.
Jesus Christ is the only way. Those that live that way, are the ones that He saves.
So the focus isn't on Peter at all. Peter is in the Bible, and he had some good things to say; I am especially proud of what he said in Act 15.
Jesus is the focus. Not saints, not angels, not a particular preacher, but Christ. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of Faith. That means that He came up with it, and He's the one that is Lord over it.
So the focus must be on Christ.

The Lord is able to save one in a straw hut! God does not need a church building to save you! If an individual wants salvation, all he or she must do is ask the Lord to forgive you for your sins, acknowledge that Jesus died for you and was raised from the dead. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior! The churches are filled with those who are on the broad and spacious road leading off into destruction. Being saved has to do with being born again. Accepting the Lord Jesus into your heart. Living for God. It is a basic truth. Whatever church you choose, make sure your heart is right with the Lord. Also, make sure your church teaches scripture. Remember, we are not saved just because we go to church every Sunday! We are not saved because we follow a set of rules of any religion. We are not saved by anything we have done! We are saved by grace! Like the song says, "What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus!"

If you read the scripture carefully in Matthew 18, you will see that the "rock" on which Christ's church is to be build is a revelation. The revelation (or belief) that Peter had stated in the verse before, that is the revelation that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the Living God.
The true church is not any one denomination, but is a fellowship of all people who have acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus over their lives and have been reborn by his resurrection.

Read Romans chapter 10.: 1-21 all men can be saved if they belive that Christ was raised from the dead.
And as for as being religious that has nothing what so ever to do with being saved.
Our rightoushess is not of ourself or in what we do ( works of the flesh) but our rightousness comes from the blood that Jesus shed on the cross for the remittion of our sins.
There is no one set religous group that is totally right.
You must have faith in what Jesus did on the cross because no man can capare to the rightiousness of God no man.
What little rightious that we may obtain come from what Jesus did on the cross anything else is pure vainity.

And what is written
Acts 2:47
...And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
It would seem that the Lord our God adds a person to the Church. So the CHURCH is all those who are saved... Jim

How do you know what Christ really said? The real followers are all dead, and what you are reading was created in AD 367 by a bunch of padres.
See, the bible is no different from Quran---it is God's word if you believe the organizers of a religious order that came long after the so-called prophets died.
Christ now only lives in our faith. And you don't need the mock-up religious books like Bible and Quran.

Biblical, God, not man, judges. What do you not understand about this biblical truth?
There is only one chapter in 2 John. so I don't know what you are paraphrasing.
2 Tim 2:15 deals with Paul teaching Timothy. It has nothing to do with your paraphrasing. There is no mention of being "saved" in this chapter. There are 54 usage of the word saved in NIV, 2 Tim 1:9 tells us God saves.
Answer: God, not man, judges. God saves.
One major point: The rock referes to God, not Church.

Maybe my bible is broken, but I don’t have a 9th Chapter of 2 John. Seriously, you are taking an exhortation by Paul to Timothy as being the method for salvation?
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."
Or John's warning against false preachers?
To answer your question, what will the people from other churches face in the end? I guess Christians will be judge by not what they have done, but what Christ did for them. His righteousness is imputed to us and our iniquity is imputed to Him (Romans 3.)

I think I would rather listen to a bum on the streets talking about his time in WW2 than to listen to whatever it is you just said. Lemme clarify something for you. There is no such thing as "god". There is nobody out there to help or save you. When was the last time "he/she" came here to help you or any others? What proof do you have that there is an existance? How do you know that the crap that you read out of a book supposively written by "god", isn't written by a poor lunatic living off the streets, who does nothing but steal his entire life. Colts are illegal. For anyone to believe in "god" and do or say any of his words of "wisdom", would be catergorized as a colt. For so many people to believe in one thing is also considered a colt. I am my own person. I know (with more facts behind it than for the reason to belive) that there is nobody out there. Stop being controlled by something that isn't real. I feel sorry for all of you that do believe. It's like a drug. When you die, your soal is not going anywhere. nobody has a soal. When you die, we are going to place you 6ft underground where your flesh will deteriorate, and your bones will remain for others to dig up 200 yrs from now to ask questions about and study (that is of course we don't end up killing everyone on this earth and destroy earth itself). Think about what I am saying. You are being controlled by something brought up by your parents. you believe stories told by them, and now they are stuck in your head as if it were true. It's almost the same thing as if a child were to grow up with a father that beat his wife. Chances are, the kid will either be afraid of commitment, or will grow up to be like his father, and be mean to his own one day to be wife. You have your own path in life. Don't allow what was told by your parents, and a book told by who knows who tell you what path to take.
