Can anyone break down the creation account, seeing how Genieses chapter 1 seems a cronicalogical order.
Yet chapter 2 show man before beast, and beast before women.
can someone draw me a picture? thanks

yea i don't think there's any point in hashing out the details, b/c i'm sure there are several "official" reasons for the discrepancies.

The most interesting this is how they will justify one or the other as not being literal as written, perhaps by saying one was not a chronological order but order of, say, importance.

Not quite so literal...

They are in two different orders because they were two different types of creation.

Adam wasn't created in the sixth day, he was created AFTER the sixth day.
