I'm an agnostic but I come from a Hindu background, and many of you don't know anything about Hinduism, so please stop posting questions about stereotypes or misconstrued beliefs and just ask first to see what you are saying is true
cow is not the hindu god mother
cows are respected in hindu society because they have helped the civilization greatly, is it wrong for some people to respect animals? It is banned, and the starvation is not due to the ban of beef, if you prefer beef, then fine, but stop making those who prefer to be vegetarians (many hindus are) as if they're choice is the wrong choice- the population of india in that tiny space is ridiculous and there are starving people in Africa too where meat is allowed
of course beef would never be banned here, but stop acting like everyone's beliefs should eb the same as yours, the vegetarian diet is a lot healthier, and that's not said out of bias, you can look it up, but please don't blame a serious problem of poverty and starvation in india because of a ban on beef, fish and chicekn are eaten by many people
just please stop insulting hindus with that one cow joke, it's getting old and it's inaccurate

Despite your horrible sentence structure I was able to decipher your question. No, we should not ban eating beef or any other animal. The high source of protein from animals is needed in a normal, healthy diet. If the Hindus wish to do such then let them. Or if the Muslims refuse to eat pork, let them.

I don't know how you can say this is a question for everybody because it's so badly written it's barely possible to distinguish what you mean. I assume that your second sentence is meant to read : "NOW what about the West - would you ban beef?" and if it does my answer is no, I see no reason to do such a thing.

I've had a horsemeat burger and horsemeat steak. It is so juicy and lean and tastes so much better than beef. I only had this in new york. People are so squirmish about this.
Ive also had ostrich meat which is "okay" as a burger and not so great as brisket.
Buffalo mean is fantastic but I think people should cut down on that and keep saving the buffalo and bison even though theyre no longer listed as endangered animals anymore.
BAN killing EMU's for oil!!

haven't banned eating other things such as pork. there are always going to be those who will be offended by something. see no reason how one person can have the authority to stop another or a group of individuals from doing what they want. as long as the laws rules and mores of the country are adhered to.

Isn't the cow a sacred thing in the Hindu religion? Strange, while you see so many pictures of emaciated children over in countries where it is widely practiced. They need to eat those stinking cows and save a few children's lives!

No. We would just go to Hardee's laughing all the way. A cow for a godmother? I guess you have to believe in a god. Everybody does.

Let's stop banning things. Let's have more pork, more beef, and especially, more of those little curly fries you get in some restaurants now.
