Assuming that by "written presentation" you mean an essay, I would say clarity, well-defined and well-organized ideas, conciseness (it's better to have a short paper that says something than a long one that says nothing, although at the same time, if your teacher wants three body paragraphs, each paragraph should be reasonably long, not just one or two sentences), correct grammar and spelling, and originality. Citing your sources correctly is also important.

If you mean a power point slide presentation:
-don't cram too much on one slide
-spelling
-make sure it is structured
-use bullets
-don't have everything that you plan to say on the slides, just have talking points, that keeps the audiance from just reading the slides and ignoring what you are saying.
-graphics are nice but don't let it distract from what you are saying
-make sure the slide (ie font and colors) are easy to read
