Yes. It's sad but true, once they have done it they will most likely try to again. Even if they say they wont and say how much they love you and bring you flowers and etc. etc. most men will cheat again. I wonder if the guys feel that way about it too after a woman has cheated on him, or do they think it's a great excuse for cheating on her now?

Thats a hard question. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on his sincere commitment to you, your love for one another, and the willingness you have to forgive/not forget. I believe that if two people love each other enough and are willing to work on their relationship it can work, without another being unfaithful. You have to learn to trust again as well, and that can be a very difficult thing to do, "trust until there is reason not to" You also have to examine the reasons someone cheated on you in the first place, was the cheating done out of spite, because your partner took you for granted, was it a one night stand at a drunken party. I think evaluating reasons for cheating is the first step in mending a relationship. Know why they did it, and why they'll never do it again. Just pay close attention to the signs, a change in demeaner, defensiveness, and lack of communication. These are the most common signs of cheating... besides the disapearing at all hours of the night

Hoped this helped. =)

The question isn't will he cheat again the question is WHY did he cheat. You have to find out why he cheated what lead him down that road of betrayal. If he cheated just because the opportunity was there then yeah he'll probably do it again. If he cheated because he had found the attention of a woman that he wasn't getting from you then maybe y'all need to reevaluate your relationship.

maybe not. If they cheated on you, they will do it again but just because they have cheated on someone else in the past does not mean that they will do it to you.

now if they cheat on you and you take them back that will lead them to believe that they can do it again.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

dont be a sucker, not matter what he says.

I don't know your situation or why he cheated in the first place. But I do believe people can change only if they want to change. If he doesn't want to change then he will cheat again. So it depends on your boyfriend and you giving him a 2nd chance.

Most likely yes, but possibly no. If he cheated on YOU, then probably yes. But it's really your call as to whether he's worth the risk of getting hurt again or not. People can change, but really, if you don't trust him, you have nothing.

YES! What kind of a question is that?!?!?! Stop being stupid and take charge of your life! For Christ sake, there are many men out there who will worship the ground you walk on and never cheat on you. Go get them!

It depends. You didn't really give any insight on what happened, how it happened and who it happened with......but 9/10 once a cheater, always a cheater.

I cheated on my ex-girlfriend once but told myself I would never do it again. And I didn't.

I wouldn't risk it, break up with him. Because even if he says he wont do it again, you will major trust issues and that could inevitably break you guys up in the long run.

Yes, most likely. The best explanation I've ever heard is if they aren't happy with themselves then they'll never be happy with anyone else. What do you think? That's what really matters. If it was a one time occurrence, can you still forgive him? Has it happened too many times, then you probably shouldn't. One time is forgivable (sometimes), two times shame on him, more times shame on you.
