Faith is one of those things that attracts
people for different reasons. Why you find
'funny' may be something very spiritual and
or inspirational.

Speaking for myself, I would never look down
on what someone believes in no matter how
strange. I may not agree with the belief, but
it's your choice to make.

If you accept that Islam is a true religion, then your question is unanswerable. Islam teaches that most of the Old Testament prophets and that Jesus were all true. So any religion they taught could not be "fake". As a Muslim, you would have to include both Judism and Christianity as true religions.

But to answer the question... it is like the blind men who wanted to see an elephant. They each touched a different part of the animal, and so came away with a different opinion on what an elephant was like - the tail was like a rope, the ear was like a fan, the body was like a wall, the truch was like a snake.

Every person and culture seeks God. But as vast as he is, it is rare that anyone sees all of God. And so those who have experienced him have build religions around that part they did see. There is some truth in (almost) every religion. And some more than others. But not the whole.

In the Bible, you have a collection of 66 books by over 40 authors written in a 2000year period that records the "touches" of hundreds of people. When they are all taken together they present the whole picture of who God is. It is a progressive revelation, each building on the "touches" that went before and foreshadowing the revelations of God to come. That revelation reached its completion in the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible teachs that he was God Himself come in human form to fulfill the revelation of who He is, and to redeem mankind.

So all of the other religions are "funny" in that they do not have a complete and correct revelation of God. Any that follow would have to deny or ignore that complete revelation, so they also would have errors in them.

Why not take a look at what the world's religions have in common?

Most non-Muslims have not studied Islam. But then again many Muslims don’t live by the basics of Mohamed’s teachings. Here are some excerpts about Muslim basics:

http://spirituality.indiatimes.com/articleshow/995419914.cms
“Islam, The Religion Of Peace”
The model world, according to Islam, is a world of peace. Islam in itself means a religion of peace.

There are many verses in the holy Quran and hadith, which emphasise on compassion. For instance, the Prophet said: "O people, be compassionate to others so that you may be granted compassion by God."

Once a person came to the Prophet and asked him, "O Prophet, give me an advice by which I may be able to manage all the affairs of my life." The Prophet replied: "Don't be angry. Even if people provoke you, don't lose temper and forgive those who make you angry. Adopt forgiveness as your behaviour."

One of the hardest things to follow for us imperfect humans is to willingly think and act with compassion and forgiveness towards the “other”. Yet it has been taught by a number of “religions” including Islam.

But the concept appears to us as “not logical”, “impractical” or “unrealistic”. So we find excuses or make “interpretations” or pick more “logical” parts from our holy books to “justify” our actions, and forget about the BASIC TRUTH.

That’s why we have Jihad and why we had “holy wars” and why we are still condemning and fighting “the others” (infidels or whatever!). That’s also why we have various fractions of Muslims or Christians or Jews or Buddhists etc., though they ALL teach the wisdom of compassion and forgiveness.

Just imagine! If all humans would willingly (not because they have been told) act out of compassion and forgiveness toward the "others" there truly would be peace on Earth! - No, I'm not perfect either!

"If any show patience and forgive, that truly would be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs." Qur'an: Sura 42:43 (Counsel)

obviously you are biased by your religion or interest in Islam and therefore cannot truly examine other religions without prejudice... if you maintain some objectivity and look again, maybe you'd realize that every religion has the same core belief: there is an explanation for the mysteries and higher powers that be in the universe; how we define those explanations is where each religion is formed, where the differences begin... God says "all roads lead to me"; so if everyone is seeking understanding and personal growth, and finds a way in whatever religion they choose who is anyone else to judge what method they use of reaching that growth? to say one way is more right that another, when we're discussing religions that operate morally that is, is narrow-minded and you should re-examine your approach to life if you want to truly discover the answer of the question you asked

Islam calls Christians and Jews "people of the book". So if you are Muslim, I don't think you can believe those two are fake or funny. There are many commonalities between those monotheistic, Abrahamic religions.

Because you look at Islam and blindly accept it while looking at other faiths and automatically discount them.

You should take some time and really study the other faiths for yourself, and not just listen to you Imam....

There are MANY things within Islam that I consider fake, not funny though, I would use sad.

Peace and God Bless your search!

If they are fake, why do you include The Bible and the Torah in your koran? You just choose not to believe them because you follow the false prophet. islam is not a true religion. So it would be fake, sad and deceitful.

Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Mo and his mom did not have a very good grasp of the Scriptures so there is much distortion.

In the Unholy book they put together they added the command that the Tikrit village idol (allah) be the only god venerated..by order of death. Of course it was a coincidence that Tikrit was the home of Mohamed, as well as Saladin, and Hussein!

An example of error:
"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.

I think Islam teaches that religions like Judaism and Christianity were correct, but lost the message.
The reality is that Islam is the funny religion. Look at any Muslim nation and ask, is that really a great place to live? For every Muslim community, there are 100 non Muslim communities that are more tolerant, more advanced, and more peaceful that I would prefer to be around.

Actually all religions are FAKE but it is NOT Funny because the irrational 'believers' create irrational arguments to justify killing people who do not believe as they do.

Try reading Richard Dawkins book
The God Delusion it will show you just how unfunny it all is.

I hope you are just being sarcastic.

If so, that was a good one.

If you are serious about your question, you will probably be the next human bomb. A bomb that will get some of God's other children killed. And what will it get you? ... OH, I forgot. ... Now, I remember. You will be greeted in Heaven by 94 Virginians; Virginians like the early founders of America.
