The lights were on. But the car wouldn't start. Waited a few minutes. Tried again. An it works. Will the battery die out on me when I'm driving. Thanks for the input.

Okay thanks for the info. Just worried. I mean it would suck if that happen, and be weird.

The battery won't die while you're driving. You need a battery only to get the car started. Once the engine is going, the engine recharges the battery and provides electricity, via the alternator, to the car's accessories. This is why all you need to do to get going after you accidentally drain the battery is a quick jumpstart, to use another vehicles power to provide just enough to your battery to get things going.

heres a hint the alternator will charge continuously when the motor runs the belt around the wheels now if the car lost the battery chargethats replaced by driving till the amperage is steady in the gauge like at least a couple miles but theres simple tests for the battery and the alternator ask at autozone about how to test the battery and the chargeing system sometimes they do the tests for free

Actually, as you continue to drive, the battery becomes re-charged. You should be able to start it again. Keep on driving. Good Luck.

Perhaps call the equivalent to the RSCVA. Maybe check out the battery.

if your car stops while its driving?.. oh boy lol or if it has repeated trouble starting means its time for a new alternator! yay!.. =| if you feel unsafe while driving take it to your local shop.. and take someone with you just incase.. mechanics swindle the average citizen often by charging them more then what they need and installing unecessary parts.. so take someone who has a general idea of cars..or you can come pick me up =D
