When I discovered it this morning it was cool to the touch, and I immediately put it back in the refrigerator... it doesn't smell spoiled or anything.

people back in the days before refrigerators used to do this all the time, they left it out and just got new milk every morning from the milk man. I would say its fine, unless it was really close to the "good-until" date printed on it, then it might be bad.

Err.. just to be safe.. I wouldn't drink it. Was it open? Because if it was I definetly wouldn't drink it. Dust & other stuff could have gotten in. Same with leaving water out around your house for too long and then drinking it, cancer-causing substances can get in.

i wouldn't drink it; anything at room temp. is likely to be spoiled by a build of bacteria within the substance; only heat and cold will subdue the growth of that bacteria, but room temp. is never safe after about an hour... but you may be able to stretch your chances to a couple hours... if you're in doubt, don't drink/eat it cuz food poisoning is hell

Your milk is safe to drink, for future try not to leave it out, I think if you leave the same milk out on and off, it'll spoil.

No. The only thing I might do with it, is to use it for milk gravy, or make your own hot pudding, this would kill any germs it might have.
