Yes if we strive hard to please Him, He is happy and pleased with us. If we strive to just walk towards Him, He Runs towards us. He definitely loves those who love Him sincerely!

Yes, God loves us very much... more than our parents love us. And our relationship with God is very personal. God is a loving God as long as one wants Him to be. If someone hates God or loves to break His laws, God will not love him (but He is always willing to accepts repentance and give people a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. chance and come back to Him). He is very will to love anyone who wants it.
