If you are confused if a guy likes you at school then it's understandable. Your best bet would be to ask him out and see what he says. Ask him if he wants to kick it with you or something. If he does and if he makes a move on you then I am sure he likes you. That's the true way to find out because we can not see the moves he makes on you just by reading your text.
The other thing is this. You may have just been wandering in general what the difference was between a guy really liking you and a guy who just flirts with you. The thing is there are many possibilities and many different answers. Someones flirting could be another person's being normal. You know what I mean? There is no true way to know if a guy likes you or if he is flirting because there are so many different possibilities. Your best bet is to do what I told you to above and ask the guy if he wants to hang out.

I Guess Flirting is way of testing the waters(So to Speak), if the Flirt-ee gets a Positive Response from their Actions-then they leap in!.
It's a way of Avoiding Rejection and Possible embarrassment when around your peers!

When they are around you all the time. Flirting can be tricky, but for the most part as a person you can see through it yourself. You need to go with your gut and trust what your feeling. But, for the most part you can tell by the way they always seem to make themselves available.

we act stupider than normal and are always trying to touch you. then we call when we have nothing to say. some times we walk into walls when you walk by, and we use big words that we have no idea the meaning of. we might try to beat up the puniest guy around just to show we're tough, and although we may only shower when we can smell ourselves we will use hygene products like hair gel when we know we might see you.... so if the guy your thinking about is smart, respects your space, calls only when he has something to say, is articulate, clean and groomed and sensitive enough not to start fights....... he's gay..... and will make a great friend for a faghag!

When you reject the guy for 3 times, if he is just flirting with you, he will backup, but if he really like you, he will still be around.

Thin line and it's hard to tell. But generally if he never takes it any further then it's just flirting. But if he asks you out to eat or to a movie that's when he likes you. They usually wouldn't spend money on a casual flirty thing.

It is all the same, but that is a togh question because all people are different. Some people flirt in different ways than others.
From my experience, you will know when someone likes you.

If he does it with everyone its flirting if its with just you he likes you. Also if he turns his head when another noticeable girl goes by he might just be flirting with you but if he maintains eye contact with you and only you then he likes you.
