I have an orange on my desk, I'm getting hungry. But there's these hungry wolves who smells everything in the office and if I start to open it, they will start sniffing and asking me what's that smell and want a piece....lmao sounds silly huh but true!

Eat it, and when they come asking for some, tell them you're trying to ward off a nasty cold. Then fake sneeze on the orange. You'll get to enjoy the whole thing yourself!

If these wolves cannot enjoy the smell of a freshly peeled orange and continuously hound you for a wedge, then you have a few options.

1. Don't eat it.
2. Peel and eat it all.
3. Offer them a wedge.
4. Bring extra and offer them some.
5. Bring extra and offer to sell them some. :-p
6. Go to the breakroom and peel it there.

If the pack usually shares, I might suggest 3 or 4.
If they are always mooching off you, then I might recommend 6. It is the appropriate thing to do. If I were hungry, and the smell of others' food made it worse, I wouldn't want others bringing food with strong odors nearby. That being said, the scent of an orange is very pleasant, so maybe 2 is ok.

Do you get a 15 minute break? If so, then go to the break room and enjoy your orange, or leave the office, peel it, and stroll back to the office to eat it. If they still hover around, simply state you feel as though your blood sugar is dropping and need to revive it.

Peel it fast. Then hide it in a drawer and eat a piece when no one is watching. Act like you don't know where the smell is coming from.

Eat it....you have the right to eat in peace! These people need to bring in their own food!
