If you are in a relationship, what should you do if you have a major crush on someone else? How do you forget about them and make your heart listen to your brain? Anyone have any good tips?

Sorry- I should add that I am female and like another guy. I think I am going mad, feel like a teenager again! I have been in a six year relationship and have never been tempted before by another bloke! My stomach is upside down and I can't think of anything but the other guy. I feel totally wrotten as I know I would be upset if my boyfriend felt this way about another girl, but I can't help it!

Ask yourself if what you have now worth loosing? if so then have the fling,, if not then stay with what you have.. You know it makes sense.

You must decide if you want to remain in your current relationship or pursue the crush. Not rocket science. People just want to have a fish on the line while they cast another pole. Be mature, if you plan on pursuing this crush, break off you current relationship first. If you want to stay in your relationship, avoid being around this person you have a crush on. You can't go after what isn't there.

This is a tricky one, but there is not point in me or anybody else telling you to forget the man you have fallen for whilst you are in this relationship because unless you really want to, you can't.
What I would say is if this is nothing more than a crush due to physical attraction, then it is not worth staking your relationship for. Think about life without the man you have. Is it worth it?
Just imagine how you would feel if he did it to you?

it depends....how important is your GF to u? How is she to you? And do u know for shure that the other person likes you? I suggest u have a way to find out.....get one of your friends (thats a girl) to ask the girl u have a crush on if she likes u...but just causually.. if she doesnt u shouldnt dump ur GF for her and u should stay w/ ur gf.. but if she does dont atomatically dump ur gf and ask out the girl or she'll think u r obsessed. U have to take this step by step. First slowly tell ur girlfriend its time to part ways and then after u 2 r threw wait a few weeks then ask the girl out! trust me this will work

Obviously, the relationship you are in is not doing it for you. I would suggest ending it, then waiting about a month and then start dating. If you are having feelings for someone else, then something is missing and its better to cut and run now. Just give yourself and him/her time for things to settle down before you hit the dating scene again, or they will think you've been screwing around and make it really ugly.

i guess you cant do anything about it. you just gotta follow what your heart says. it will be upsetting for your bf but at the end of the day, you have feelings for someone else and that would hurt more if you stayed with your bf and begun to hate him and resent him. life is sh*t sometimes but thats the way it goes. good luck

You should really think about the relationship you have with your boyfriend and if it means alot to you, then remind yourself of what you could be losing when you start to think of your crush.

That's sad. I guess you need to think long and hard about who you really want to be with. Not who you are more attracted to. If you really love your man and want to be with him, then just ignore the other guy and ignore your feelings.
