C & D are gibberish. To decide between A or B try this:

Assume that each generation has two offspring. start with one pair of animals:

Generation 1: pop size=2
If Gen 1 has 2 offspring, then Generation 2 = Gen 1 & Gen 2 = 4
Generation 2 now has 2 pairs, if each pair has 2 offspring, then there are 4 new offspring added to the population in Gen 3. Gen 2 + Ge3 = 4 +4 = 8

Try this for two more generations and plot population size against the number of generations
