I have a lot of pictures that are taking forever to upload to a printing site. I would rather put them on the CF card and just bring them in.

My camera shows up as another drive, but it won't let me paste anything onto the drive. My photo program also doesn't have anything that lets me export from the computer to the CF card. What can I do?

You can't do that going camera direct (via USB or what ever) to your PC, as that is a one way street. What you can do (if your computer doesn't all ready have them) is get a card reader for your CF card. I have a single USB cable that I can use different card readers on (proper software installed for each) and can interchange them at will. Then I can even edit them (add captions etc.) and then drag and drop them back to the card(s) for later presentation.

There are a number of elements using the diminish charges - First - It is a corollary of "Moore's Law" that is that "the quantity of transistors in an incorporated circuit will double each {yr}" (presently approximately sixteen -20 months, however the precept holds). Memory playing cards are very similar to incorporated circuits and their ability is growing on the identical or quicker premiums than normal incorporated circuits on account that they're in fine call for and better ability and better entry speeds are probably the most preferred aspects. Second - It is a precept of chip/incorporated circuit construction that the producing rate (adding layout) may be very top for the primary unit however the rate of each and every successive unit is minuscule so the extra which are synthetic the less expensive it's to make. So the extra they make the less expensive they're. Prices shedding point out that many models are being offered!! Third - As unit ability and velocity develop the relative charges of previous designs drop swiftly in order that providers can get rid of present stock and substitute it with more recent models. While it's real that there are best 2 main brands of product's making use of xD playing cards, the playing cards themselves are utilized in enormous quantities of goods from those 2 corporations and it's also viable to get adapters to make use of them in different instruments. Because in their very small dimension I consider that those chips might be round for future years. Hope this is helping.

Depending on many conditions your camera may not allow this.
Use a card reader to transfer the images, you may not be able to read them on your camera.
