I got these messages when running a scan:

Cannot open file C:\hiberfil.sys
Cannot open file C:\pagefile.sys
Cannot open file C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\DEFAULT

Is there anything to be concerned with??

No. The hiberfile is the one that sets your computer into hibernation after what ever amount of time you have it set for. The page file is an area of the hard drive that is reserved as an on disk cache. Not sure what the last one is as you didn't give the full path name, but it is in the System 32 directory and most likely a file that should not be tampered with. You should be able to set your virus scanner to not look at these files at all.

If your computer runs Windows NT, 2000, or XP, you may notice that one or two files can't be opened during the scan. Under normal conditions, pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys cannot be opened for scanning because they are in use by the operating system. The first file is part of the memory system, and so is scanned during the memory check that NOD32 does automatically when it first starts. The second file is part of the hibernation system, and gets overwritten whenever you use the hibernate shutdown option. So for these two files, this is perfectly normal, and does not indicate a problem with your PC. (You won't see hiberfil.sys on NT at all, and only on 2000/XP systems that have hibernation enabled.)

Hence its perfectly alright and nothing to concern about, PLUS DON'T EVEN THINK OF DELETING THEM

Virus scanning cant combat worms and certian types of malicous code. Some code is able to detect being scanned and attack virus protection software and or lockdown infected files from the system.

Could be a problem, all files should allow virus scanning, even system files. NEVER delete files unless you know what your doing.
It is most importnat to back up all data and have the OEM disks (with product codes) for your OS and all apps.
