Quite often a dog will start snoring if they are overweight. This is a concern because extra weight puts a huge strain on a dogs heart. Instead of dog treats try red or green peppers, apples, or carrots, in small quantites.

My dog who looked fine snored horribly (she'd wake me up in the middle of the night) We found out that she was over weight. We put her on a vet recommended diet and she lost weight. Her snoring dissapeared with it.

My pug snores contantly..The vet says there is nothing wrong with him, it's just the way his nose and face are. He's totally healthy, so I don't think any snoring dog would have a health problem.

Most likely not. I have 2 Rotts, 130 pound male and a 70 pound female (both fixed) and they do dome serious snoring!! My beagle snores when she is sleeping soundly, though much softer than the Rotts.

I have dogs that snore. If the dog is over weight perhaps, but if otherwise healthy I wouldn't worry.

there's nothing wrong, dogs do a lot of things that we do: snore, dream, follow women who are in heat, you know...the basics
