awwww I don't know. But that is a really sad thing for a 4 1/2 year old. She will need so much love and affection right now. Concentrate on giving her SO much attention without moving her in for right now. If that is not working enough because her parents are ill then I would say take her in. She is 4 1/2. She deserves a home. If something bad happens to her parents (God I hope not), she will need to know someone loves her. Your son will have a playmate as well. She is 4 1/2 and probably very confused what is happening with mom and dad. If you and your boyfriend were in their situation would you want someone to take in your son? Are the parents wanting her to move in with you so they can have time to rest and recooperate?

You have a 4 1/2 year old Aunt? Where did you get a job making 60 grand without having to know how to spell or know proper sentence structure?

Sounds like you have made up your mind. That precious little girl needs a good loving home. If you can't do this for an extended period of time, help find someone who can.

So what if it does turn permanent, it's family that's what you do.You already have one kid you will do fine. What goes around comes around open your heart. Wouldn't you want someone to care for yours if you were in that position?

I would take her, but it's your call only you know if you can handle it, or if you want to do it. As your BF thinks it may be permanent are you willing to take her as your own, if not wouldn't it be better to let her go where she will stay if it comes to that.

family comes first and I'm sure you would rather her be with you than in a home. so i suggest take her in.
