As in any relationship, it depends on how much you are willing to compromise. I don't think age has anything to do with it.

Depends on the personalities involved...if the older woman has a dominating character the younger man may eventually find this trait rather strangling to him...whereas if the younger man has an immature attitude the older woman might find it frustrating to be dealing with a child in the relationship rather than a man. Or vice versa for either.
If the two are of the give and take calibre, the union can work extremely well. It's all based on what each wants to bring into the union and whether or not they really want it to work.

I've never seent that. its always the woman who want the rich husband so they date an old guy. I for one cannot even imagine doing it with someone any more then like 8 years older or younger then me.. right now i cant imagaine doing it with somebody 8 years younger but down the road sometime . maybe its just true love. they found someone they feel comfortable with and only consider age as a number.

It depends on the 2 people and how commited they are to the relationship. They stand just as good a chance as anyone else.

I have been leaving together with my wife for 5yrs now who is 10 yrs older than me.It all about understanding,respect,trust and the big one lots of love for one another.
