Maybe a nice set of shampoo and soaps and the bathroom all to themselves for a while.
Homecooked meal.
I know it's winter, but it's somewhat nice in certain parts of the country. Take them to a park or to the ocean and have a picnic. They probably haven't been outside much.

How about some personal products- bath stuff (for women)
Depending upon sex and age- I would say some nice clothes for job interviews- like a shirt and tie for a man, and maybe a nice blouse and some costume jewelry for women.
