Upset stomach for sure.
If he (or she) does it occasionally don't worry abot it, but if it is a constant thing, you should take the dog to the vet and have him checked - possible stomach ulcer easily treated with liquid meds

Sometimes dogs will eat grass because they have an upset stomach. Grass can cause the dog to vomit, then relieve the stomach pains. It doesn't always work though, you may find grass in the dog's droppings.

Well, don't worry. He is only helping himself. You may notice that he doesn't eat every grass. he chooses only blades that contain Bacillus Subtilis, a natural bacteria that helps in digesting. Maybe he do has a stomac ache , but he doesn't have to. I mean, I thought I was raising a sheep , not poodle, judging by the amounts of grass he used to eat! I mean, why wouldn't he help himself, if he can? Why wouldn't he digest easier his food if he can?

We raise pit bulls and they eat grass when their stomach is upset. We have learned that they do this so that they can poo. You could also go to any web site about dogs and get a professional answer.

its funny to watch dogs sometimes, my old dog picked out specific blades of grass, usually the really long thick ones, and would eat them then sit and wait to puke, my other dog would watch her and then try to eat mouthfulls of grass at a time and then get all discouraged and spit them all back out.
