If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action.

Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past!

Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

If you can't afford a dermatolotist, your still going to spend a lot of money buying over the counter products. It's going to be trial and error for you. Not all acne is the same, and since your skin is sensitive your in a bit of a pickle. I would suggest you save your money until you can see the dermatologist. If not, there are few over the counter acne kits available that will save you money. You won't have to buy a cleanser, treatment, and mosturizer a la carte.

You can get great skin naturaly, from home.
If you want natural, at home stuff, you have got to read this book. I had skin problems, for years. It really pissed me off that I should have been more popular, except for the pimples. I am smart and funny, but they just ate away at my self-esteem. I was determined to get rid of them by hook or by crook.

I tried a whole bunch of things like proactive and others but nothing seemed to work. I tried a few different books and e-books and nothing helped. Then, I read an awesome e-book that will teach you all the home remedies that you will need to get rid of acne permanently. At first I thought it was too expensive, but then I realized that I pay this much like every month for pimple medicine and washes, and this was a one time thing. Best decision I ever made! Not only did it help me stop getting pimples, it also helped clear up my old pimple scars, which were really pissing me off!

I tried some books from my dermatologist, but they didn't help me, plus I kept on forgetting to return them to the library. The best thing about the e-book is that I downloaded it right away, and i had the copy forever.

I'm fair skinned but have really oily skin with spots, i am in my late 20's and know how you feel. I thought i'd grow out of it but that hasn't happened. I'm in the UK so don't know if you can get it but try to look for something with willow bark in it, it works wonders. good luck

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems.

I use Aveeno facial scrub and lotion. It's a bit expensive, but it's a great product.
