Sometimes when I go out and it is for business, I have a one drink limit. I have a glass of white wine and then I switched to diet coke. I would not recommed drnking either at a club. I would go with a bottle of water, at least in New York it is an acceptable option. I do not recommend faking a drink, it is just silly.

You shouldn't drink more than you're sure you can handle. And you are sadly mistaken if you think alcohol has anything to do with how fun a situation is. As you learned though, it may make the evening entertaining to others, if you don't mind looking ridiculous.

Actually drink'n and acting stupid is common you most club go'ers, so being sober gives you the edge when it comes to hit'n on guys/ladies. Just drink water and shake that money maker.

drink non-alcoholic beers or have juice with tonic or setzer. The worst is to meet someone that you are attractive to and then act like a moron because you had one too many.

Its called being an adult and who cares if you drink soda? Its nobodies business what you drink. If you just have to tell someone(Why I don't know) then tell them you're alergic to it.
