If you believe not, how do you know your not condemning your second coming in the jury box, when it's a murdering sadistical self-inflated piece of dirt sat there?

The sadism is in the self torture of temptation by the imaginary god. Who is the better sadist? the one who lashes or the one who never does?

Maybe he or she is the one prepared to do the job which you all shy away from.

It was this type of thinking, aswell as reading the bible and discovering some frightening things, that made me turn away from the church. Christians will say that their god has a right to destroy what he has made. If that is true then do they accept it when someone with mental health problems takes the life of their own child or are they disgusted by it? They also start chimming on about how their god is perfect and can not be judged by our standards. I am glad I have chosen not to be acsociated with a god who can so easily cause pain and suffering to those he is supposed to love dearly.

The question could have been put better, but what I think you are tiring to say is how could God allow things like this to happen, well God gave us free will, and we messed up, the problems around the world today are caused by man not God, there is always someone who will blame him, but we need to look closer to home for the blame, and the so called second coming is not from God, it's Christ

Not sadistic, just imaginary. Consider the source of the imagination, and you will know the source of the sadism.

You have it wrong.

God provided a perfect victim for a heroic, sacrificial life and death, to atone for mankind's accumulated offenses, and to destroy the power of evil, simply because none of us were suitable for the job.

Satan and the forces of evil were responsible for the sadism and brutality, in the hopes that by such depravity, the son of God might choose to give up, rather than endure his suffering until the end.

God gave us his son, permitted evil to do its' worst to him, and in the process, he provided Satan with the divine instrument that would bring about his own destruction.

Then, God restored his crucified and broken son to glory, just as he promises to do for all of the faithful.

This is the true story of our redemption in Christ.

Listen, the bible has nothing to do with God.

Has anyone ever seen God? Has anyone ever heard His voice? Has anyone ever read His words? The answer to all those questions is NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God is not a jealous, vindictive, and sadistic force. The bible was written by men!

Actually, I do not think that God gets involved in any way with us here.

The birth or death of anybody is due to karma, but of course, the bastardd that took the life of a helpless person (a child, woman , an animal, an unarmed man, etc) should be shot.

yea..can't imagine the "merciful' "god' letting ANY child go through pain and torture and death..just another contradiction of the bible that is hard for a lot to believe. I just can't believe a child living the sins of their forfathers..whats up with that anyways...

But which God the God of the Jews, Christians, Muslims or Buddhists, if God was really sadistic he would give us all titty pinches all the time and we would all have big sore nipples
