I'm a guy that have everything I want to... I'm 14 and I think I should ask for poor people but everytime I ask it.. it never happens.. so how can I be sure thaat god is real and it's not just something the human use to be protected like imagination or something... I need somebody 2 tell me why do u believe in god??

God is real. I believe. Just look around you and ask how could this all have started without a God.

My theory had always been why not believe what harm could come by believing. Then one day I was in a car accident 2 years ago, friend hit a tree, the jaws of life were brought out, I was close to death, fractured vertebrate etc. As I was being lifted in to a helicopter to take me to the hospital, barely breathing I asked the attendant was I going to live, he said "I don't know but if you believe in God you better pray." Exactly what I started doing. Work a day later in the hospital after surgery, was told I probably wouldn't walk again. Prayed some more. More surgery. When they went in this time my back had realigned no spinal damage. My right leg that had 3 medal rods placed in it began to heal properly and within a month I was shipped off to rehab. Long story short 2 yrs later. I walk perfectly fine (although I can't play basketball anymore). Miracle? I pray everyday now and thank him for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me now and in the future.

Now to answer your question. There is evidence all around that god is real. Things like the human body and the universe itself prove that God exists. How? Both of these show evidence of design and you cant have design without a designer much like you can have art w/o an artist and a novel w/o a writer.
Now as far as answered prayers. God doesnt always answer prayers immediately or favorably. God does what is best for you, it is HIS will that matters, not man's. And b/c God is not subject to time, he could have done something years ago that put into effect a chain of events that can effect you in the future. God knows what everyone will pray for b4 they even pray for it. It's called providence. I believe because He is my Best Friend, Father, Helper, etc.... He's always there when I need Him. He's never let me down. You don't always get what you ask for, but when your in trouble He's always there to pull you through. I was kicked out at 16, and I had nothing. I fell on my knees in prayer, next thing I knew I had a trailer that I had bought for next to nothing, I paid all my bills even though I didn't bring home enough to cover them, to this day I still don't know how that happened, and I always had gas to get me to school and work. I believe in God, because he's come to my aid many many times, and has never failed me. Have I ever felt that He did, Yes. Did He, No. After a while you always see that his plans are best, even if you don't see it at the time. Will God help all the poor people in the world, in his time he will. Sometimes though, you have to be willing to help youself before he can ever help you. You have to be at your wits end, before your willing to turn everything over to Him. That's what He demands of you. Your unfailing Love and Faith. If you don't have that, then you don't know God. However without Christ, life is just living, it's not LIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your life is so much fuller and so much or worthwhile with Christ in your life. You have peace that you never had before, and a lack of fear because he's by your side always.

By observing and looking at the world around me, I've come to the understanding in myself that there is in fact a God.
I've never before been a person of religion, but I had believed in God blindly by what I was taught. Now I've looked around this world I'm in, pondered it's origins and purpose, and come to my own conclusion.

I believe in God very much. My faith is very important to me. NOTHING would ever change my mind that God does not exist. I just think that this world is really freakin amazing and that there is something out there, a force, just SOMETHING that is so incredible and way beyond anything great I have ever imagined. It makes me tingle. :)

First, put it in the right category, second, no, god is not real, third, you dumbasses need to get a life. What about the dinosaurs? We know those were real, because of the fossils. So, why were they never mentioned in the bible? And if everything has a maker, and god made the earth, then who the **** made god!?

I believe in God because I have Faith and Faith In knowing He is real is what gives you Hope in waiting for all you ask in His Name. Be patient, Believe in God and wait for in God's time not yours or mine will be awesomely answer your needs. I am a witness that God provides and takes care of all! If he takes care of the birds and they want for nothing do you not think he will take care of you also? He Will!!!!!! Believe!!!!!!

just look at the things around you, the cars, computers, houses, roads, clothes, shoes etc, if they all have makers(human beings), then definitely other things like mountains, animals, humans, water, light etc have a higher maker - God. He is more real than the clothes we put on.

You don't just pray to God for answer...you can't be selfish and praty to God only for help.
You should thank him for giving you birth on this earth
You should thank him for your existance
You really need to look at people living in other countires who suffer from many things that you haven't suffered yet.
You need to thank God for that
Stop being selfish and help others.
