The absolute worst gift was from my step-mom proabably 20 years ago. She loves the church rummage sale. I got a used cake pan (in the shape of a cat) that still had the .50 cent masking tape price tag on it along with a handmade dusting rag glove! But do you know, I still have the cake pan! Maybe I'll make a "Meowy Christmas" cake!

My father got the same shaving lotion back for Christmas my mother gave to an uncle the year before. My Aunt saved it and forgot where it came from. We got a real laugh out of that one. Many people used to do that.

My ex could never shop for me, and he was a cheap @$$ so he'd ask my mom what I wanted. We had dated 2 1/2 years, and he got me candles, because it was the only thing under like, $20. Jerk. He didn't even wrap them, he just handed me the yankee candle bag. We broke up a week later (not because of the gift, it was way overdue).

When I was 29 my mother gave me (and my 35yo sister) a little Hallmark unicorn diary with a gold key - the kind 9-14yo girls like. I think they must have been on sale. LOL.

First year of marriage and I got a Parker Pen for Christmas?!?!? And one year my brother saved lint from the dryer and wrapped it up for Christmas?!? Kind of a Charlie Brown Halloween where he gets rocks instead of candy.

One year, my bf gave me some lingerie. I didn't realize what it was at first, he had it wrapped up so small. So, I just pulled it out of the box, right in front of his mom and dad. You've never seen anybody put something back in a box so fast! I was so embarassed and all he did was laugh. Jerk!

Last year my mum bought me 2 Little Britain Dolls, one of Vicki Pollard and one of Daffyd (the only gay in the villiage). They were utterly hideous.
Luckily she'd left the prices on them, so I was at least able to swap them!

Two years ago I got a little bath and body set of lotion and body wash, etc. Then last year I got the same thing again from the SAME PERSON! lol

My grandma gave me footed pajamas.....I was 26 years old!!!! Last time I wore those I was probably 3!!
