Peter denied Jesus 3 times as Jesus told him he would. He went on to be a great teacher. Peter asked for forgiveness and Peter is in Heaven.

To deny God, it seems to me, would merely be to disclaim Him and His divine existence. If u think about denying God, but your actions speak otherwise, that is the more important thing don't u think? If u think about stealing something while at a store but u don't, you're not a thief right? So if u question His existence and divinity, but always follow the commandments & are loving & faithful, you have the faith brother, you just can't interpret it. But it is all within u. I deny God, so also deny he ever said anything, nor could he pass any messages for others to pass on. Will I go to hell?, no because I also deny hell!
Hope this helps?

Denying God, or denying the Holy Ghost is called an unforgivable sin, so for it to be unforgivable, we need to understand that this is a sin against a great amount of light and knowledge.
This would be for someone who has seen God face to face, seen heaven, absolutely understood His great plan and still say "No, I don't wan't any part in it." much like Satan did before the world began.

Iit seems you are bothered by so many questions... If you read Matthew 10:33 you shall find an example. God is talking about denying Him not in words more than by acts.

If you deny (a) God then you, by the same logic, wouldn't hold a belief in a hell.
I don't believe in (a) god, why would I believe in the flawed theolgy of a hell?
It doesn't make any sense.

No, you cannot deny God, you can speak against God's Spirit but you cannot deny God

Romans 1:18-end of chapter (about 12 verses). Denying God is very dangerous.

It's actually "denying the holy spirit" or, as it's sometimes written, "blaspheming the holy spirit":
Mark 3:29
"But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."
---
So! The Holy Spirit eats babies! I deny the Holy Spirit!
---
That should do the trick!

Surely if you think about denying God you will go to hell. But if you truly deny god you won't go to hell because you will realize that there is no God and no hell.
