How many people use Windows 2000, as compared to Windows XP?

I can only tell you largely home user uses XP.
Only coporate still uses 2000.
So the world population vs coporate.

I maintain a website and my current counter states that only 7% of users accessed my site using Win2000. On the other hand over 90% used Win XP.
