How do you know that he hasn't showed up on the earth as a homeless person in a big city? That would make sense to me--it would show someone's ultimate charity. I think that may be a reason that I almost always give to the homeless--who am I to say that it is not Jesus in disguise?

Gary is right. It will be the mount of olives and his glorified, resurrected foot, when it touches earth again, will cause a massive change (earthquake?) that will change the whole face of the earth and usher in the mellenium
CAPlee is right too.

Some say He will eventually descend on the Mount of Olives.
When He first appears however, every "Eye", (3rd eye), minds eye, like we can see pictures in our mind. Will
"see" Him. Like in a vision!

Who knows! Does it really make any difference to you? When he comes back, he comes back. That's all we know. The location makes no difference.
