Seems thats what Chicks always say. I want a sweet loving nice and understanding guy. Let me ask you this then, if that is truly what you want, then how come the geeks and nerds in high school always get rejected? They are what Chicks describe they want in a guy, yet reject them when they approach. No, I think Chicks lie to themselves and to others when they say that, what they actually want is a rude, cheating abusive guy who has that bad boy look.

Why would a person even approach another if they weren't attracted to them in the first place? No woman wants a cheating and abusive mate. A woman begins dating a man because she's attracted to him and he treats her well. Only after a man has her in his "grasp", he'll become mean and maybe abusive. She's convinced that he loves her because that's how the relationship started, so she'll stick around. Women certainly don't go looking for mean partners, they just end up that way.
Sometimes women go for the 'bad boys' with a yearning for acceptance. If a 'bad boy' actually ends up treating her well, it feels good to her. It's like taming a lion. All women want is to be loved and accepted. Unfortunately, many women learn the hard way that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
I'm not saying all men are the same. There are guys out there that deserve better, I know. A lot of times those guys are too shy or not self confident. These can be costly attributes when looking to date.
Oh, and if you really want to woo women, stop calling them "chicks".

Coming from a woman who truly does want a sweet, loving, nice guy, I think that the nerds and geeks in high school get rejected because when you are high school you 1) are not even a WOMAN yet, still a girl and 2) you don't know WHAT you want when you're a girl. Also, the nerds and geeks tend to have a little trouble in the socializing department. They tend to be socially retarded. If you are socially retarded, it doesn't matter how nice you are, you're not going to get the "chick" you want.

Women that go for abusive men have multiple other issues that need to be dealt with before they can have successful relationships. That said, what a woman wants is the total package for her. Forget what the movies say, this is different for every woman.

So called geeks and nerds can be nice, smart guys but they often have personal habits and mannerisms that are not attractive to many people. They want to blame social stereotypes for their rejection instead of looking inward and making self-improvements.

It takes more than being a "nice guy" to be a good partner. First and foremost, it takes confidence (not *********) and healthy self-image. Be proud of who you are, or make changes until you are proud.

It takes a genuine desire to learn and care about the other person. It takes common interests. It takes compromise and being realistic with your expectations. It takes practice and effort.

Notice I said nothing about looks or social status. It's not about that. Being attractive is about who you are as a person, and if it isn't, you're in the wrong situation.

Because its the older women that want the nice guy. The ones that are ready to settle. We want the bad boys when we are younger and tend to go after the player types knowing that we are going to get walked all over, and as a young woman you tend to take advantage of the guy that would do anything for you. But as you get older you end up appreciating the nicer guy and wanting to settle down with them.

The thing to remember is to not allow yourself to be walked on by anyone. If you let a guy boss you around girls with think you are week. If you let a girl boss you around she will use you and then leave you. Make sure that when she asks you to do things you don't do everything that she asks, if you do she will surely know that you are wrapped or whipped and use you till she can't anymore.

First of all, don't be fooled, womenand young ladies don't like being called 'chicks'. So that may be your problem.

Second, don't try to discount the idea that women want to be with a nice guy based on the behavior of teenage girls in high school. Girls in high school usually haven't learned what they truly want in life, yet!

I don't want a guy with a bad boy look but i don't want a guy with a total nerdy look. I found one just right for me and he's loving, nice and understanding. It all depends on what the girl is looking for. Oh and also don't call us chicks we're girls/women/ladies not farm animals!

I think you hit the nail on the head. I bent over backwards to make my ex-fiancee happy, and showered her with love and affection. Yet now she tells me it isn't worth it. Some women just want a guy who is going to treat them like **** I guess. Nice guys really do finish last, just ask a women, most will say the same.

Statistics proove that most women would like to date a bad boy, but would rather marry a nice loving understanding guy. High school age....they're still in dating mode.

Well I put it this way I already have a nice boyfriend, but he ain't a soft boyfriend that do everything I say. But he does spoil me to death. So I guess I have to say yes I like a nice guy as a boyfriend, but he can't be no soft baby mama boy.
