That is really sharp. Really good.
It could be. I think he meant the Jews. The followers of Jesus sought refuge in Rome in his time. Either way. I totally agree that it is all past us and the apocalypse and rapture happening in the near future is a great scam.
I would appreciate if you would answer some of my questions. You seem knowledgeable

Yes, I wonder how the hated Roman enemy, ended up being keepers of the book. Why was it translated into Latin, when arimaic and greek language was what it was written in? (to reach the widest audience?) Power is why. Then they had control of prophetic interpretation. They had control of the spiritual springs of water. I personaly think that revelation was delivered into thier (Rome) possesion, guided by the Lord. Because once they understood Rev., they knew they were dead in the water! (Like a trap or snare.) That would be the point where it turned ugly (the beast had two horns like lambs horns, but it spoke like a demon) with inquisitions, crusades, witch burnings ect. ect.
Had I lived in those days, I would have been among the outspoken women, burning on the stake. The (MOTHER) church did kill millions of women too. As for the number 666, maybe it means 6.66 billion population.
Arn't we at that now? Hee he he . . .

The original Greek means "of man", like something to
do with our material world. The best thing I've heard
is that it's a computer code already in use. On the back
of most things you buy at the store. The 3 sets of
2 thins lines, is a 6 in that particular code. They're the
ones just a little longer.
Computers run on a system of 6s. Like 000001 is an
A. 000010 is a B. Something to that effect.
I feel the mark on the hand will be a tattoo or chip
implant. So they can run the scanner over it, and if
you're on the poop list?
The mark in the forehead is I believe, a spiritual mark.
Like the one the Elect get. And whether the spiritual "Eye" is full of Light, or Darkness!

Revelation replaced into written in Koine Greek (I somewhat have it in Koine Greek). maximum scholars, as I do myself, would evaluate it a "glimmer of wish" for Christians being persecuted by the Roman Empire, as you recommend, and in no way a prophecy of the destiny. 666 is many times taken as being Nero Caesar, as "Nero Caesar" in Hebrew numerology supplies you as a lot as 666 and matches in with it.

I don't want to spoil a good story, but on the radio I recently heard that the most ancient manuscript of Revelation ever had been discovered, and where it gives the number of the beast it had 616. That's right, six, ONE, six! It adds up to 13. Back to the drawing-board everyone?

Revelation was not written in Latin. The New Testament was written in Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew.

I'd have to check on Revalations paricularly, but most of the New Testament was written in Greek, with a little Aramaic thrown in.

It was written in Greek, although it (666) may have been referring to the Roman Empire / emperor.
