I have outlook express and AVG virus/email scanner. This program is taking messages that are NOT spam and putting them directly into the 'deleted' box. Anybody familiar with this program and why this is happening? Thanks!

You can verify the trash folder andrestore the mails . Infuture that will not get in to trash...! Many hours are wasted due to spam email. However, by taking simple precautions while giving out your email and installing updated free software, you can prevent spam. More info available at

Are you sure that AVG is doing this and not Outlook Express itself? It's probably just a false positive. Mark the message as not spam so the next time it will not move it there.

AVG Is ok, they have a nice detection power. I believe AVG has a free home edition out to the public, and works like a charm. If you want superior anti-virus protection use BitDefender 2008 total Security =, but it can be a little spendy.
