That is a bit of a misleading question, because people lump "religions" together differently. For instance, I consider myself a Latter Day Saint (Mormon). But some people might lump me in with "Christians" even though my beliefs differ from many other "Christians". Same goes for all other sects of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. It would be interesting to see what the largest overall sect is though. Probably one of the Islamic groups, or Roman Catholicism?

Christianity (when you combine all the "splinter cells") at 33%.
Islam is a close second at 19%.
Hindu takes the number 3 spot at 13%.

I am a Catholic Christian, but honestly,

If you take out all of the people in all of those you mentioned that do not truly follow their faith and put them in with the non-religious, that would by far be the largest group.

We are becoming more spoiled in all of our faith.

Peace and God Bless!
