Since Islamic calender is different from gregorian calender, sometimes islamic holidays fall around the same time as christmas. Islamic calender goes by the moon and falls back i think 11 days back or forth (i'm not completely sure which). Like this year, our 2nd festival, Eid-ul-Adha (Eid of Sacrifice) is falling around at the end of december or either 1st or 2nd of january.
hope that helped!

Eid ul-Adha
For now, this holiday come about the same time as Christmas.
The Islamic calendar is a lunar one and the dates for all holidays advance by 11 days every year. so in ten years that holiday will be celebrated in the summer unfortunately.
