God must exist, for if he did not, who would be there to make the sun rise each day?

A dangerous question dude! The existence of God is impossible to prove. Having said that, it is also impossible to DISprove God. Therefor this conflict will be forever raging. Ones belief in a God (any God) is a personal choice. Some people however are not strong enough emotionally or intellectually to make that choice for themselves and will therefor simply follow the teachings of those before them, be it family or community. Some people believe so strongly in God (and im sure a few of them will answer your question) that they believe they have a personal relationship with God and nothing you can say will persuade them otherwise. You can give them all kinds of evidence but it will not be enough to change their beliefs. Personally I take an agnostic view on the subject. God is impossible to prove therefor I don't consider it when making choices. As someone before me said "I believe in nature... [because]... there's lots of evidence...".
Unfortunately you wont get an answer to your question, just opinions.

Im Catholic I practice because they teach me things to live my life by. THings that make living on earth easier for everyone like many other religons teach.
Does God Exist I am not sure. He would exist to create life and the universe. If no god could create life then you have to admit that life force is always been exisiting in one form or another. I mean a simply bolt of lightning or change in temperature would be just a change of form and that form of potential life would be doing nothing more than transforming so that life itself or potential has always exisited unless God Created it. So thats a logical reason to believe in god. Oh by the way I find a creator no matter which religon you believe in alot more feasible than Santa Claus or Tooth Fairy but I see why people have lack of faith.
Because there are alot of relgions and very few hard proof. Science has the mission of not finding out how life was created but more so to preserve life in its present form on earth. WHich is temporary. Of course the potential cannot be wiped out even if this is the only planet because to do so would be illogical without god. But in order to perserve this version of the life force We must find away to replace our limited Sun or extend its life. We must not destroy the life sustaining capablity of our planet.
And even if there is no god I still see a high value in Religon it gives us mysteries of past human civilization and guidance on behaving in a socialy exceptable behavior and while proof of everlasting life is impossible or God as they have Described in bible still no one can prove without doubt that God does not exist and so your simple faith can have a large negative impact if you dont except it eat the body of Christ it is possible to save your soul is not that possiblity worth the risk so just eat it.

Since I can remember, I was told about God. I always just believed He existed. Never faltered. He was a good dad who was in the heavens, and always watched over us & knew every hair on our head.
Now contrastly, there is this li'l girl. Born into a family of atheists. So with no exposure to God, at 4 years old, she started having visions of heaven & God. She told her mom, she was taken aback/ didn't believe it! How could she know what she knows? At four years old too? So this small girl, starts drawing everything, people, nature, and as she grows, she starts painting. Painting self-portraits, Jesus' portraits, and many very symbolic paintings that people had a hard time understanding! This a small child, with the ability better than a college art major. And to go along with her paintings are profound poems to compliment each & every one of them. A prophet. A pure female prophet, sent to us straight from heaven. Her site is artakiane.com, go check it out, it's like candy for your eyes, and the rhythm for your soul.:o]

yes GOD exists. no one has ever seen the wind, yest everyone has felt the effects of the wind, therefore the wind exists. GOD is like the wind.all one has to do is look at the glories and wonders in the Heavens and on the earth to see GOD'S Handiwork. yet, GOD like the wind remains invisible to the 5 senses of human beings while on this plane of existence. do not expect this explanation to change a
non - believer's opinion, but for me this is sufficient.

Yes. God is the power that created the universe. No human being can explain who or what exactly what God is, but there is definetely something more powerful than all of us. I know their have been times when I've felt God's presence.

Only in the minds of those who are too weak (not a putdown) to handle life as it is under their own particular circumstances, and of those without the education and mental ability to grasp the complexities of what they see outside the context of entities with magical powers.
