I'd throw it away, all these E. Coli breakouts should scare you enough to throw it away. Haven't you heard that leaving raw meat of any kind can cause bacteria to grow if it's in warm temperatures for a long time........Unless you're in Alaska or the Northeast(and we haven't had that many cold days these days) I'd throw it away or end up a very unique E.Coli case who never went to Taco Bell

I do all my meat that way and I 've never gotten sick or anything.CookBook says pat dry 2lbs. meat.Roll in spices(thyme,oregano,basil),salt and pepper.Dunk in 1/2 C.flour. Brown on all sides in pan,don't crowd,work in batches.Fry in 2T. oil 1/2 c. each carrot,celery(i used broccoli),and onion-gently cook 5 mins.Place it all in a pot w/2-3 C. water,beer,or wine.cook 1 1/2-2 hrs. til tender then add 3-4 potatoes and 2-3 carrots and cook 35-45 mins.Then your finished.Pretty good.

I've done that before, as long as it was still cold I'd say go for it. Marinate it in Italian dressing for an hour (in the fridge) then throw it under the broiler! yum

It will be just fine. I like my steaks either grilled or broiled please. Brush them with a marinade or use a favorite vinegar based salad dressing from the store as your marinade. It will taste great!

it will be fine . with beef the bacteria are only on surfaces (unlike chicken) so when you sear it the bacteria are killed .
