Like it or not, Allah ( Ilah ) is the name for God in Aramaic the language that Jesus spoke.
Jesus never prayed to God or even referred to God using any word but Allah.
People who say that Allah is a false God do not know what they are talking about, and they are most certainly not following the true teachings of Jesus.
Love and blessings.

The English word "God" is the name we apply to the God of the Israelites and the creator of the universe. If you translate that into Arabic/Aramaic is may be "Allah". Allah is the person or object of the worship of those who follow Mohammad. He is their god. All religions have some kind of god. The Christians have a god. It is unfortunate that we use the same English word to speak of the Mohammedan god and the Christian god. They are not the same. They may each hold the same position within their respective religions, but they are two separate persons. The Christians call their god-"God". The Mohammedans call their god-"Allah". In trying to describe Allah to Christians, Mohammedans refer to him as the same as the Christian God. But, they are not the same, even though the same "name" may be applied. If one studies the Bible and the Koran, it becomes obvious that these two gods are not the same, but opposing. Then look at the difference between the Christian community and the Mohammedan community as far as they each relate to their religion and society-the difference is extremely noticeable. To say they are the same, or that thr religions are the same, or that they have the same god is beyond absolute stupidity.

Allah is an arabic word that refers to God, like Jehovah in Hebrew. However studying islamic religion you will find out that the attributes of Allah in Quran is different than in Old testament & the Bible . For example Allah can use shiftiness, He could be destestable, He promises martyrs to have a heavn where they can have sex with virgins etc... etc... Also God or Allah can not be a liar or say 2 different things. If he is the one in the bible then by all means He can not be the one in Quran.

Yes. Prophet Isa (Jesus) peace be upon him refered to Allah when he talked about God. Because he is a messenger of Allah and he brought the same message as the other messenger of Allah (peace be upon them all). How can you say he is the son of God/God and say that you worship one god? How can you claim that? There is only one God (Allah). There is none worthey of worship besides Him. If you claim that He had a son, then how is He one to you? Also, if you assign partners with Him, that's the greatest sin that if you do not repent for, hell is incumbent upon you for eternity!

Yes, muslims worship YHVH.
You're having a problem with the semantics of the word 'god'. Do Greeks worship a false god because they worship (I believe...) Θεός? Or Germans because they worship Gott? How about Chinese who worship 上帝 ?
To get past the semantics, ask by name. When Moses asked what God's name was, God responded, "I Am Who Am" which is the source the te tetragrammaton, YHVH. So specifically ask a Muslim, "Do you worship YHVH, that is, the great I Am Who Am?" And the answer you will get is yes, they worship the God of Abraham and the God of Moses. They do consider Jesus the Messiah, but understand that Messiah, according to prophecy, was to be a MAN, not a part of God, not God himself.
Why is it that an atheist has to teach a Christian about things regarding the Christian faith?

Don H is right. Educated Catholic theologians agree as well.
I was in a high school seminary and I asked a priest that I looked up to if praying to Allah is considered a sin.
He grinned and told me, "Allah is one of the many names of God, and is the same God we pray to." And then he went on to explain how Judaism, the Muslim faith, and Christianity all share the same Gods, just differing in emphasis on the prophets and conceptions on how to worship Him.
This was from a man who has done extensive study and research on the subject.

Is there a line in the bible where jesus says : "I am the son of god"?

Jesus has a God whom he worships. God does not have a God. Jesus is not God. He has a God. the bible says he said: John 20:17 "...My God and your God." there is only one God. and Jesus worshipps that one God. He does not worship himself.

Good post, my friend...you recognize the Muslim deception;
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ....that is hypocrisy.
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.
The Bible calls Muhammed and those like him false prophets:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
