fu lol

but I do hate it when people use lol when something actually wasn't very funny at all. They would say something like "oh my god, i was late today again lol" I mean really? were you really laughing? no, you weren't, don't lie.

It's laziness, to put it simply. I used it because I thought it was cool, but when I took a step back, I realized I was just being lazy.
Plus, it's disrespectful. Would you send cryptic text messages like that to someone you respect?

I appreciate when people actually speak and write the English language well. This is just another phenomenon, like dropping standards to match the level of incompetence, in some public schools.

I hate all of it. It looks childish, immature, and makes the users seem like uneducated idiots who use it because they don't know how to spell or punctuate.

I think the worst is when people use "u" instead of "you"

"what do u do when u want to talk to a girl but u are scared she'll reject u"

i h8 it 2

"ur" is the one that pisses me off the most. I mean sure the letter u sounds like the word you, but that's just taking it too far.

i also am not fond of it, but we must respect other people who love texts and chatting over the net. We live in a free world anyways, to each is own.

Well, if you ever tried to send a text message to someone on your phone, you'd understand.

HOWEVER -- if one has a full-sized regular keyboard, I don't get that either.
