OK, so I'm not religious at all. Period. But I've read the bible, as I think all people who like to think should. So in my hunt for something new to read, I've come across Dante's Inferno, which made me think....

What's Satan's version of the Bible and does it have an ISBN number so my library can get it? I just think it might be interesting to get the big red guys perspective on life, death and supposedly eternal punishment.

There is no Satan so there is no Satan's bible. However, you may be interested in the Yazidi tribe of northern Iraq; their two holy books are Kiteba Cilwe (Book of Revelation) and Mishefa Res (Black Book), talk about Melek Taus, the "Peacock Angel", who is often considered to be Satan.

Well, you could look up The Satanic Bible and The Satanic Rituals, both by Anton LaVey, but considering the Church of Satan does not actually believe in a deity or a demonic being, it may not meet your definition of "Satan's Bible." The basic concept of the CoS is actually atheistic, using Satan simply as a symbol of their stand against the church.

Sadly Satan doesn't have much in the way of biblical literature - I guess from a religious point of view, the more mysterious and scary he is the better! You're better off looking for satanic web sites for research in this area....

If you get the chance, read the whole of Dante's Divina Comedia - its worth the effort, and a real classic.
