I wouldn't call it a mental illness, but a fabulous example of mob psychology and a case of the clever exploitation of the malleable human mind.

I propose behavior therapy, changing the thought processes gradually so that they are based in reality, not this false notion of reality that has been programmed over time.

The world would be a dark and cruel place without Religion, even with the faults of some within it that do bad things in the name of it.

Do not fault the faith itself, but the ones that abuse it.

Mandatory well rounded science education and make it illegal for religious organizations to continue to blatantly misuse the words 'fact' and 'theory' when teaching their gobbledygook. Nothing irks me more than seeing evolution and creation or intelligent design all described as competing 'theories' when only evolution is a genuine theory, the others being mere hypotheses-es
