no is the ans, they will look really thin once straightened,so avoid . may be if u really need to straighten for a party just iron them but not more than once a month.

Dont do anything to your hair. its better you have a simple haircut that suits your face. Application of hot irons and chemicals will only worsen the situation.
Eat a protien rich diet and apply paste of henna, sour curds and egg every 15 days.
