Anytime they update software for anything, most likely it is better in some way. They may have completely rework any security flaws in WMP 10 that posed a threat to your system. I would suggest keeping your system up to date with anything released by Microsoft, for your Windows OS. It will save you any future grief.

NO, it's worse. If you happen to have selected the auto-hide option for your Windows Task Bar (as I do, in order to have more space on the desktop), WMP 11 will not let you access it. This practically reduces your computer to a single-tasking machine. You cannot even reach the "Start" button!

I have Media Player 11 I think it is pretty good. I do like the option of searching for lyrics if they are available, and i like the colour change that you have. Likee everything it has its pros and cons.
