Mahmoud Amadinejad (president of Iran) had this big conference to decide if the Holocaust in WW2 really happened - I think they decided it didn't and he is now calling for Israel to be wiped off the face of the map.
What are your thoughts on both the findings from this conference and the what he said about Israel?
I am not trying to cause problems (you know me) I am just want clarification on this.
Is this an Islam belief or is it an extremist idea?

Tamar - Freedom to believe or not believe in God is one thing, freedom to rewrite history is another.
By the Nazi's own records, we are talking millions of Jews and millions more non-Jews murdered.
This does concern me, my own Roma relatives were imprisoned and killed during that time.

Islam does not support murdering innocent. whoever does this will answer to Allah on the Day of Judgment. murder is wrong. Some are disputing the # of Jews murdered. either way , one murder is too many.

Actually I read about Iranian president conference, there are two items:

First, He didn't call for Israel to be wiped off the face of the map, he said that the Israeli regime shall be wiped off.

Second, Why is it freedom when people say that God doesn't exist; But it's a big problem when someone says that the Holocaust is not a sure thing?
I myself think that the Holocaust happened, but towards thousands only, again it's my point of view

But the most important thing is , DO YOU THINK THAT BELIEVING THE HOLOCAUST IS A MUST? NO FREEDOM IN THIS MATTER SPECIFICALLY??? I DON'T THINK SO.
P.S. The caps letters are for emphasizing only

The president of Iran only wants an excuse to wipe Israel off the map. He knows the Holocaust really happened-there is no way to say it didn't. There are so many people still alive who lived through it so the conference was just people who were trying to deny it. Israel has every right to exist.

Salaam

I think that Iran's president has serious 'hate-issues'.

I know about the conference but havent caught up about their findings. However I can guess what he said and its not good.

Whether holocaust happened or not, its not important right now.He should act like a decent leader and try and establish some common ground with the Jews.

I'm sure that God won't approve of how he is treating the followers of Moses(as).

yes, i know that the jews also have issues with him but still...try to be allies.God wants all his followers to join together regardless of our differences.

These are political issues. It has nothing to do with Islam or its Idealogy! It can be taken as Irans Point of View on Holocaust and its relations with Israel. I think all Muslim countries insist on the dialogue and settlement of Palestine.

As you know the Iran is being surrounded by Big Powers which are supporters of Israel. Iran is trying to servive under present difficult situation!

Let Iran try and wipe Israel off the map. I dare them to do it. If they are so afraid of the U. S. they should really be afraid of Israel's God because He will not allow Iran to destroy Israel.
My advice is that if you're laughing about the end times coming, you should begin to take it seriously.

The Holocaust Conference is not really about whether or not the holocaust happened. The agenda behind this meeting is to call for the destruction of the Israeli State.

I asked a version of this question yesterday, of the Muslim responses I got one that said this man was a bad example of Islam, and one that said that he is a great Religious, caring, generous man.

The rest of the Muslim comments were directed at the wrongs of Israel, or anger at me for asking.

So, only two ever gave an answer, I hope your question does better.

Peace!

It's simply a political statement that the nation of Israel is illegitimate. They are making excuses.
