Often it is a massive delusion.

Christianity is often little more than a lie about God that makes Him/Her out to be a judgmental punishing Jerk.

This is not true. God is unconditionally loving. Unconditional means no conditions.

It's reality.

We come to the reality that we need Christ.

As long as we dwell in a flesh body we will fall short. True repentance is not a license to sin but a change of heart.

We need God's Word which is His Spirit.

We come to the reality that there is evil in the world and to hate evil is perfectly normal.

Love is a wide spectrum, at one end is your spouse and children, at the other end is your neighbor. Christ just wants us to try and stay on this spectrum, if possible.

Perfection is full age or maturity in His Word.

That's what a Christian life is, reality !!
